Wishes Granted in 2024

AndreaHer wish was to take her three sons to Hawaii.  She said that they had an amazing time and created priceless memories.  Our thanks to Island Breeze Luau for their help in making Andrea’s wish come true.  This is a note from Andrea: “I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for granting this wish for us to visit this island. During our stay here, I was informed that Kona and other Hawaiian islands revolve around the spiritual concept of mana, which is the life force energy that flows through all living things. The islands are believed to be infused with mana, which is creating a sacred space where healing and transformation can occur. Our stay here on the island was very much healing, and the memories that were created were priceless. The boys and I had  a wonderful time snorkeling, seeing the sea turtles, and just exploring all parts of the island, from rainbow falls to Hawaiian national volcano park. This will be something that will be remembered forever, and I thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to create these wonderful memories. Thank you again to Wish Granters and everyone who has helped with our trip.”

Dorothy (Dottie) – Her wish was to have her hot water heater fixed or replaced.  Our thanks to Diamond Heating & Cooling for making Dottie’s wish come true!  This is a note from Dottie’s social worker:  “I spoke with Dorothy’s daughter today and she told me that Wish Granters helped to send an electrician to the home who found the issue with the hot water heater and got it fixed. They now have hot water in their home.  I cannot thank you enough for all your help! You are all true angels!!”

MargieHer wish was to have her home cleaned so that her last days could be spent enjoying her family and not worrying about her home.  She was absolutely delighted with the deep cleaning her home received.  Our thanks to Kristy from Sawtooth Home Services for  making Margie’s wish come true.

Tony His wish was for thumbprint pendants for his two sons and a ring for his Mom.  While he passed away before the wish could be completed, we were still able to order these special keepsakes for his family.  His Mom gave her thanks and said they will have these forever as a remembrance of Tony.  Our thanks to Thumbies for their help in making this wish come true.

Christhian His wish was for a Walmart shopping spree to help his mother as she cares for him. Unfortunately, Christhian passed away before it could happen, but we still completed the wish. His mom, daughter, and grandma were so appreciative that Christhian’s final wish came true.

Jean Her wish was to have her bathroom remodeled so that she could safely shower at home again. Jean is so excited that the project is complete! Since her favorite color is purple, one of our board members even bought her purple towels to put in the completed bathroom. Our thanks go out to John at Drake Mechanical, Jesse and Steve at Custom Bath, Michael at Valley Glass, and Troy at Optimum Plumbing for their help in making Jean’s wish come true.

Rich His wish was for a trip with his wife to Henderson, NV, to visit family.  Rich and his wife had an absolutely amazing trip and were so thankful for this time with family.

Dee Her wish was for new flooring in her mobile home. She was absolutely speechless when she walked into her home and saw the new flooring . She was so pleased with the results. Our thanks to Tony’s Floor Covering and RC Willey for making Dee’s wish come true!

Hannah Her wish was to go to Dallas with her husband and son to visit family. They had a wonderful time; and spending time with her three year old granddaughter was a highlight of the trip!

Jeff His wish was to bring his daughter and family here from Mississippi so he could spend time with them and meet his great grandson for the first time – so special! This is the message we got from his daughter after the trip: “We had the most amazing visit, and we are so thankful to Wish Granters for making my dad’s wish (and mine) of having all of his family come out to see him before he passes. Liam had the best time meeting his great grandpa. The week was perfect […] We would like to thank everyone again for making this possible for our family.”

Deborah – Her wish was to go to Pacific Grove, CA with her daughter and grandchildren. She specifically chose Pacific Grove because that’s where she spread her husband’s ashes several years ago and because sitting by the ocean brings her peace. This is a thank you from Deborah: “There are no words that can express my gratitude and joy to have my final wish granted. Thank you to everyone at Wish Granters and everyone who has donated to this wonderful charity. May God give you all special blessings in your lives, as He has in mine.” Our thanks to Paul & June Bromley for their assistance in helping with lodging for Deborah and her family.

Larry – His wish was to go to Phoenix, Arizona, with his children to visit family.
